I wear my heart where my head should be

I've been up to a lot lately, and that's why I haven't been updating as well as I should have .
So here lies the agenda for the past few weeks for moi;

1. Went on one of the best holidays I've been on,  to Langkawi, with my immediate family as well as my youngest uncle's family .  Sunny, soft sands, swaying green trees and warm sea water .
This was taken in the afternoon, right before rain, after grey clouds started accumulating .

I even brought back what could possibly be a Crush look-a-like! Crush, for those who may not know, is the baby turtle from Finding Nemo; whose catchphrase was "Duuude!".

2. Got my results in the mail today! A thousand times Huzzah! ~

3.  Went prezzie hunting avec ma mére, for my sister . Celebrated her birthday in a simple way, with molten cake from Chili's . We're celebrating with the whole family; meaning cousins, aunties and uncles later this weekend .

I, of course just had to get myself a couple of things as well . There was a small promotion for buying the gift that I did, so I snagged this cute little yummy lip balm .

Also, I got two pairs of shoes for RM70, at Summit, it was a huge sale . Excellent . I am super duper broke, though . #BowCrazy

4. I got my hands on The Perks of Being a Wallflower, and started reading only the first couple of pages . I'd heard a lot from it; especially the movie, so put it in my summer reads list .
I can't say so far whether I like it or not, because it's too soon to say, but so far, it's nothing special; not to offend anyone in any way .

5. Toblerone obsession . The only other obsession more demanding is for the internet . Le life of a super awkward teen~

6. I've been drawing, and writing in my notebook a lot lately .
Writing and making art is a big part of my life, it's my outlet, and especially since I am not going to Uni or school or anything .

I like using pencils, but try to also use colour pencils as a regular medium too, because, let's face it; I need the practice .

They're all sketches of cartoon characters, because I've had enough of flowers for a while .

*Pineapple = My way of paying homage to one of the greatest cartoon characters ever; Spongebob Squarepants without having to draw him . That's laziness for you .

 7. Remember those flowers I pressed, that I brought back from my trip to Genting? Well, they're flat as paper now . I wanted to say pancakes, because, well, who doesn't love pancakes (not me .)? But really, to be critically correct, they aren't really flat, are they? ):
Anyway, they (meaning the flowers) really and truly look beautiful, although they were prettier when they were fresh .

Their stunning apperance was no doubt preserved . I was planning to frame it, but that would mean buying a drill, and nails, etc . And trust me, that's really not my department if you know what I mean .
Me + drill / hammer/ powerful tool of any sort = disaster awaiting to happen . So I'm staying away from those; at least until I can learn to stop tripping over my own feet .
I think I'm going to scrapbook it or something .
I smell a new project; maybe?
