After a hurricane, comes a rainbow

Went out today, for the nice weekend weather allowed it. One Utama was really amazing, and we got to visit parts of it we hadn't seen before, since we hadn't lived here for quite a while .

Something else, that had been very big happened, and though it was a little traumatic (to say the least), it was a sign, or lesson to be learnt from .
A teacher of mine had told me that it happens to nearly everyone, and the best thing to do is to be 'redha' . It means to be content with something, and accept the situation as it is, and surrender ourselves to Him . Seek refuge and security, forgiveness and happiness .
So with these things, you don't even need to tune to the news on TV to know that there are others who are less fortunate, but still are more grateful, and patient . My own neighbours have been through far worse, and my prayers are with them . I'm going to stop and say that it could have been a lot worse; because it really could have been, and hope for the best .
Thanks Yasmin, for being there when I hadn't quite learnt this yet, and when I hadn't actually been in a peaceful-minded mode . You can count on me, and I can count on you .
"I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so you can learn to let go. Things go wrong so you can appreciate them when they're right. You believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself. And sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together." -Marilyn Monroe
